NEXUS Condominiums Achieves "Topping Off" Milestone

Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) and Burrard Group announced on March 14th that NEXUS Condominiums—a 41-story high-rise tower of 389-units at 1808 Minor Avenue in downtown Seattle—reached the “topping off” milestone. Construction began in March 2016 and this new achievement signals the near-term delivery of this highly-anticipated vertical community. The team also unveiled the final 28 homes for sale, which include one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from below $1 million to over $2.7 million, with occupancy by late 2019.

“We are thrilled to reach this pivotal accomplishment in our construction progress at NEXUS,” said Terry Bendrick, vice president of development for Burrard. “We share this excitement with our current homeowners, whom will begin occupying their new homes by late 2019.”

Burrard plans to host a celebratory event, At the NEXUS of Everything, on April 11th to share construction updates and highlight the changes taking shape in the neighborhood. The event will be held at the Kinects building (directly across the street from NEXUS) and will afford a view of the building and a gallery of new developments and residential amenities that will envelope the skyline.

“The northeast corner of downtown Seattle is one of the fastest-growing areas on the West Coast,” said Billy Mainguy, vice president of strategy for Burrard. “Our showcase will help create a spirit of place for future residents. It’s also an opportunity for new homebuyers to explore the informative exhibits and consider becoming a member of our community.”
