The wait for prospective buyers is over, as reservations for priority presales for 203 new condominiums

The Taiwan-based Da-Li International and Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty announced earlier this week that they’ll host a reservation event for KODA Condominiums on Saturday, February 24th at the New Developments Preview Center located at 2715 1st Avenue in Seattle. The project will offer efficiently-scaled homes ranging from below 400 square feet to over 1,100 square feet, with pricing from below $400,000. At the event, homes will be offered for unit reservations, which gives the buyer a chance to identify a specific condominium and view its preliminary floor plan, design specification and price range. Official presales are anticipated to take place in summer 2018 and will be timed with the groundbreaking on the project and the KODA Sales Center opening.

As Dean Jones, President & CEO of RSIR says, “This is effectively the presale of a presale. Prospective buyers are invited to identify and reserve their future home for purchase ahead of the public sales debut and secure a structured price range without concern about multiple offers, escalation clauses or missing out on what’s inherently a limited opportunity.”

By reserving a unit with a reservation agreement and fully refundable $5,000 deposit, potential buyers will be given notice when the final product offering is released by the seller in order to make a final decision about whether to enter into a purchase and sale agreement.

“Our view in this reservation approach with its first-come, first-served policy is the best way to offer our homes within a highly competitive market,” said Kevin Hsieh, Vice President of Development for Da-Li International, LLC. “We are excited to move forward with this phase of the development sharing preliminary information with homebuyers – we’ve assembled a world-class team to deliver the next generation condominium in Seattle.”

Homes at KODA will be part of a vertical neighborhood with a robust collection of amenities including a grand lobby with co-working spaces, a 7th floor fitness center, yoga room, library and conference room, and the 17th floor KODA Club – a lifestyle center with a screening room, billiards room, fireside lounge, catering kitchen, private dining, and access to the rooftop terrace with BBQs, fire pits, and outdoor seating areas that encapsulate stunning city and mountain views.

In keeping the homes more affordable, some amenities will be optional, including the addition of islands in the kitchens, parking spaces, and additional storage. The car is viewed as an option rather than an obligation, especially given the project’s close proximity to the growing transportation hub at King Street Station.
