For the second year in a row, the AREAA Global Luxury Summit will be held in our backyard, as hundreds of international and luxury real estate professionals will come together April 7th to 9th to network and share ideas at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Dean Jones, President & CEO of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, will speak on the “Making Your Market Matter” panel to highlight the growing international interest in Seattle and the firm’s Asia Services Group, among other topics.

According to the event website, Seattle was chosen to host the Summit this year because it is forward thinking and innovative, particularly given gains in the eco-friendly and technology industries. Many of the panels and keynote speakers will “highlight how technology and green-energy are reshaping the world of global and luxury real estate.” AREAA also plans to celebrate two major milestones in 2018: the fifteenth anniversary of the organization, and the fiftieth anniversary of the landmark Fair Housing Act.

Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty has had a longstanding relationship with the AREAA organization, and Jones has previously spoken at past events including the 2016 Hawaii Summit, the 2015 Chicago Summit, and the 2013 Hawaii Summit. Following the AREAA Global Luxury Summit, Jones will head north to Vancouver for another AREAA-sponsored event: A Tale of Two Cities: Vancouver vs. Seattle, to highlight the strengths and weaknesses, similarities and differences, of each West Coast gateway city.
